This is a simple technology which lets Balsa generate Verilog output that can be simulated or synthesized in Quartus II. It also generates output compatible with other Verilog simulators, such as Icarus verilog or Modelsim, but the defining feature of this particular technology is that it generates output files compatible with Quartus. To install it, make sure you already have Balsa installed and then run these commands: ./configuremake install The "make install" line should probably be run as root, or else you might get complaints about not having permission. Once you install this technology, it will be available in balsa-mgr.
