ClearCanvas is a an open source RIS/PACS and DICOM viewer implemented in Microsoft .NET. The project comprises a fully-functional PACS server and archive with web-based interface, and RIS server backend. A user-friendly DICOM viewer with integrated RIS front-end creates a full client-server solution. An accompanying SDK with documentation allows quick ramp up to create plugins for the ClearCanvas system.
