The (a) section of Figure 1 illustrates the Line Echo Canceller (LEC) residing in the access network where echoes occur. Other voice processing modules, such as Automatic Level Control (ALC) and Noise Reduction (NR), are shown merely for illustration purposes. On the terminal side, both acoustic and electrical echo can occur. If the voice terminal is a speaker telephone set with an open acoustical path from the speaker to the microphone, the effect of acoustical echo is combined with the effect of the network echo. Because there is only a miniscule delay between the electrical signal and its echo, the speaker/listener is exposed to an effect known as side tone. Typically, instead of mounting a LEC at the terminal, side tone circuitry is placed to control the amount of the returned energy. and compressible signals based on randomized dimensionality reduction. To recover a signal from its
compressive measurements, standard CS algorithms seek the sparsest signal in some discrete basis or
frame that agrees with the measurements. A great many applications feature smooth or modulated signals
that are frequency sparse and can be modeled as a superposition of a small number of sinusoids.
Unfortunately, such signals are only sparse in the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) domain when the
sinusoid frequencies live precisely at the center of the DFT bins. When this is not the case, CS recovery
performance degrades significantly. In this paper, we introduce a suite of spectral CS (SCS) recovery
algorithms for arbitrary frequency sparse signals. The key ingredients are an over-sampled DFT frame, a
signal model that inhibits closely spaced sinusoids, and classical sinusoid parameter e)

Incremental Conductance: In the incremental conductance algorithm, we find the derivative of PV output power
with respect to output voltage. The dP/dV is evaluated and the algorithm keeps checking this value and changes
the duty cycle such that dP/dV=- I/V = 0. This is the point at which maximum power is transferred. If dP/dV is
greater than zero, it means the PV is operating to the left of the MPP. If dP/dV is less than zero, it means the PV is
operating to the right of the MPP. This method holds an advantage over the perturb and observe method since it is
fast and does not oscillate around MPP. However, the method could experience instability due the involvement of
the derivative.
